Our Delicious Journey
Daddyo's Burgers started as a dream to bring the historic fried onion hamburger to Texas. Born in El Reno, Oklahoma in 1922, the fried onion hamburger was a way to supplement beef supplies during very challenging economic times of the Great Railroad Strike in a small western Oklahoma railroad town. Just a few years later, the Great Depression made it a staple. To this day, El Reno celebrates
Fried Onion Burger Day the first Saturday in May. When Daddyo was a young lad, his first job was peeling and slicing onions after school at one of the longest standing burger joints in El Reno. Daddyo worked his way up from the backroom and grilled thousands of burgers.
Now, we have a passion to share this delicious burger with Texans and a
commitment to serving the highest quality, local ingredients.

Daddyo's Burgers are prepared with local grass-fed beef, thinly sliced sweet onions smashed on the grill. Served on a Martin's potato roll and pickles on the side. You can order any burger without onions, but people may stare.
